In a self styled clean sweep of awards at the Basketball Zonal Prize distribution ceremony for the year 2019-20, the students of GD Goenka public school Dwarka bagged five out of six trophies.
The event was held at Pratibha Vidyalaya, Sector-10 and was organized by directorate of education GNCT of Delhi for South West zone.
Ms Kuhuk of Class XII added to the name and glory of the Alma Mater by securing 8th rank in the Hindi Essay writing Competition held at State Level. The event was organized by Shri Ram Chandra Mission and Heartfulness Education Trust.
Bhumika Baluni of class XI again made a mark for herself after securing a Gold medal at Zonal level she went on to bag a Bronze medal in long jump in Beti Bachao Beti Padhao program held at district level. The event was conducted by Delhi NCT.
The Taekwondo team of our School put up a stupendous show and won a huge tally of 10 Gold medals, 13 Silver medals and 18 Bronze medals in 31st Delhi State Taekwondo Championship held at Thyaagraj stadium, INA Delhi. The team also won an overall III position in the event. Taekwondo federation also felicitated our three international players with a token of appreciation.
Basketball team for boys in the senior category left their indelible their mark in the Inter-Zonal Basketball tournament by bagging the second position. Sahil Kumar Shah of class V bagged Gold Medal in 50 mtrs. sprint. Anish Gupta of class XII was selected to participate in Basketball Nationals (jr) and thus played a major role in helping Delhi Basketball team to secure 9th position in the championship.
Inter Zonal /District Cultural Competition was held on 16th October 2019.
Ridhima Sahay of class X bagged the First position in Vocal Semi Classical Competition and has qualified for the State Level Competition.
BHUMIE BHARDWAJ has made India proud by bagging the SECOND POSITION in JUDO COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP 2019 held in England. Heartiest Congratulations!
Gayatri Ravindran of class IX has been bestowed the prestigious Rashtriya Hindi Pratibha Sammann organized by Hindi Vikas Sansthan. She will be felicitated at Tri Murti Bhavan, New Delhi on October 11, 2019.
7th September,2019- Adding another feather to our cap, the basketball team of G D Goenka Public School, Dwarka, won their final Basketball match in the DSS Tournament, by beating ITL Public School. The match was held at British School.
Ridhima Sahay of class X brought rave reviews to our school on 9th September,2019, by bagging the First position in Zonal Solo Semi-classical singing competition, held at Maxfort School, Dwarka
U-13 Girls team and U-13 Boys team of our school bagged 1st price in St. Xavier Basketball Tournament in their respective age groups. Also U-15 Girls team showed spectacular performance by bagging 2nd position in their age group. (31.08.19)

Aadya Sharma secured a Gold medal in Delhi State ‘Rope skipping Championship’ held at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, New Delhi. The event was held from 29th -30th August, 2019.
